Music & Imagery Therapy
Music & Imagery Therapy combines creativity with emotional well-being; building resilience and offering strategies to help us deal with the stress of modern life. This short-term, goal-based therapy can focus on developing and increasing self-confidence and self-worth, the ability to hold on affirmative moments and feelings during times of stress, targeted stressors in your life, or help you to work through patterns in your wider life, which you may feel are holding you back in some way. Through a combination of talking, music listening, and the creation of imagery, sessions help to build and maintain supportive inner resources and emotional equilibrium.
(You will require a drawing pad (preferably A3), and some colouring pencils/pastels/pens for this session. However, no experience of drawing is needed – imagery can take the form of shapes, blocks of colour, or pictures).
