My journey into the world of alternative health therapies has been ongoing for the last 16 years, initially gaining professional qualifications in Indian head massage then Reiki energy healing, I found the therapies particularly Reiki were beneficial for my autistic son and my own personal wellbeing. Meanwhile I continued to educate myself on alternative health care and regularly used essential oils and homeopathy as alternatives to regular medications.
It was following my own diagnosis of ADHD recently in 2015 that motivated me to return to education and study a diploma in Holistic Therapies. Following the completion of my diploma, my fascination of the anatomy and physiology of the human body had developed further and I felt the need to learn more. I am currently in my third year of a BSc (hons) degree in Sports Injury and Rehabilitation with Chichester University.
Although my passion lies in holistic therapies I feel it’s an added benefit to have an advanced understanding of science and the human body to better enable me to fulfil my passion of helping others find a path to natural healing. I offer individually tailored therapies using a blend of massage, Indian head, essential oils, reflexology, chakra and energy healing.
I have a special interest in special needs and children and young people.
In addition I belong to the Federation of Holistic Therapists and the International Federation of Aromatherapists.
